Programmer.
I've been programming almost since I can remember. I taught myself to program at an early age, and I've enjoyed it ever since. I mostly do web development, working with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. I've worked with Google's Polymer library, and I have worked on Wordpress sites quite a bit. In 2015 I completed an AP course in the Java programming language. I've designed and developed several personal projects. I prefer to use vanilla JS and CSS when I can. I designed and built this website on my own.
Musician.
When I was thirteen, my parents got me a guitar for Christmas. All through my life I've been exposed to several styles of folk music, from John Denver to classic and contemporary bluegrass. Recently I've started performing a collection of mostly Irish folk ballads and songs at local music jams. I really enjoy singing, which can drive my family crazy at times! I would love to start performing professionally sometime in the future.
